How to Transfer Funds Using UPI

Let’s dive into the process of transferring funds to your Sharekhan account using UPI. 

1. Linking UPI ID to Sharekhan Account:

   • Before you proceed, ensure that your UPI ID is linked to your Sharekhan account. This step is crucial for seamless fund transfers.

2. Using the Sharekhan App:

   • Log in to your Sharekhan app.

   • Click on the hamburger menu (usually three horizontal lines) to access the options.

   • Select “Transfer Funds” and then choose “Add Funds.”

3. Initiating the UPI Transfer:

   • Enter the amount you want to transfer.

   • Select your bank account and segment (like equity or commodities), and choose UPI as the mode of payment.

   • You’ll be redirected to the relevant UPI app (such as BHIM, PhonePe, or Google Pay) directly from within the Sharekhan app.

   • Follow the prompts on the UPI app to authorise the transfer.

4. Checking Equity Balance:

   • Once the transaction is complete, the transferred funds will reflect under the “Equity Balance” in the FUND TRANSFER section of your Sharekhan app.
